Simple Amortization

Written by

Do you need a simple amortization schedule/calculator to show you how much you owe over the course of a specific time?  Give the Simple Amortization spreadsheet from Excel Pal a try.

Just enter the loan amount, interest rate, loan period (in years) and the start date.  You can also enter any additional payments on the schedule that you make.  You can also change the title of the amortization schedule from “Simple Amortization” to a different title so it reflects the piece of property that you need the amortization schedule for.

There is also a chart so you get a visual display of where you currently stand with payments.  The chart will apply payments based on the current date.  For example, if the current date is in the month of June, then the amortization schedule chart will show data based on payments being made thru June.

The amortization schedule can go up to a 30 year loan.

-Requires Excel 2007 or Newer
-Macros NOT required

  • This is a great amortization schedule for keeping up with a loan. I bought a new truck about 2 years ago and plugged in my financing info into the schedule. Decided to start adding a little extra to my payments each month so I can hopefully pay off truck about 4 or 5 months sooner than expected.

  • Im using this to track my extra payments I make on my ATV loan. This amortization excel spreadsheet does everything I need it to and the chart it displays is an added plus!
