Daily Food Tracker

Are you watching your calories, your carbs or just the amount of food your eating on a daily basis? Whether you are counting calories or keeping carbs low, its easy to do with the Daily Food Tracker by Excel Pal.

Track years of your daily eating habits.  You can manually enter the food, calories and carbs each time or you can create a food list & quickly and easily select which foods you need to add to the Daily Food Tracker.

Need to see what you ate last week or last month?  Its no problem moving around in the Daily Food Tracker.  You can move forward and backwards a day at a time or you can go directly to a date.

-Requires Excel 2007 or Newer
-Requires macros to be enabled

  • This food tracking template is my new way of keeping up with what im eating. I was using an app on my phone but this is so much easier for me to use. I already use excel on a daily basis, so this works out great. Nice template.

  • I have never used a spreadsheet before that has macros, but I definitely see how much of a benefit it is. This food tracker is really nice, I will be using this!

  • I wasn’t expecting much out of this daily food tracker but I am really impressed with how well it works and how easy it is to use. I usually use phone apps for just about everything, but I like the way this spreadsheet works and how easy it is to move from day to day or to move to any date I need to. I use spreadsheets daily, so its easy for me to fill this out while Im working on other spreadsheets. I think I have added about 100 different foods, snacks and drinks to the food list on the spreadsheet.

    I would have liked to track sodium intake and a few other things, but being able to track calories and carbs is the biggest thing for me so this spreadsheet works out good for me. I have been tracking my food intake now for about 3 weeks with this spreadsheet and I can say that by keeping track of the food im eating has really helped me to keep focused on my diet.

  • I started using this food tracker about a week ago and I think it has really helped me stay on track with my diet. I enjoy adding new foods/drinks to the food list and very convenient that I can sort by whatever food categories I create, helps me in finding the foods to add to what I have eaten that day. I think I have added about 100-120 different foods, haven’t eaten that many yet since I started using the food tracker, but I went ahead and added items I know I will at some point be eating.
    Being able to flip back and forth to what I have eaten on previous dates is great. Its always hard sticking to diets but this spreadsheet definitely gives me a little more motivation.

  • I try to get on a decent diet before the Holidays because I know if I don’t I will eat more than I should during the Holidays. I downloaded this food tracker a month ago and Im really enjoying using it. Its very easy to use, easy to add foods and easy to setup your food list. Im glad I found this daily food tracker excel spreadsheet.

  • I downloaded this daily food tracker on New Years so I could start keeping up with the food im eating. Im bad about snacking throughout the day and not realizing how much im eating. I wasn’t really worried about keeping track of the calories and carbs, mainly I just wanted to see how often im eating/snacking.
    The daily food tracker has really helped me see where I need to cut back and it also has made me more aware of how often im eating and snacking. I am going to keep using this spreadsheet and will probably also start tracking my calories on the spreadsheet as well so I can really see how much I am eating daily. Thanks for offering a good food tracker, I am already seeing the benefits of keep tabs on my eating.

  • Started keeping up with my calories on New Years day. Today im down 4-5 lbs and plan to keep it up. This food tracker is really nice and easy to use.

  • I was lucky to find this tracker. I had been using MFP, but found the data unreliable and wanted more control of the information I was tracking. This template was what I needed. I was able to add more information, protein and fats, to track. Craig was great to work with, as I had questions after downloading the template. Highly recommend!
